We put Lincoln to bed, and about 20 minutes later he started yelling that he needed me. I went in and the first thing he said to me was, "I wish I was a mermaid!"

We were at the store today, and this kid swore. Lincoln repeated what he said, but he didn't quite get it because he said, "Holy Sure!"

This is a Darin-ism.....We were reading "Maybe you should Fly a Jet" by Theo LeSeig. One line says "You could be a mystery guy. Would you like to be a spy?" and Darin said "Yeah! With my little eye!"
